The history of Péché de Chocolat
Péché de Chocolat is renowned throughout the world for its superb quality and distinguished taste that won the highest European awards. This is attained through the selection of the best material and the highly controlled process of chocolate making, all natural ingredients and 40 years of chocolate making experience.
Péché de Chocolat was established in Raleigh NC 2002 by Ed Salem, the creator of the Péché label. He put into practice his master knowledge of chocolate making gained over the years from working with various chocolate companies around the globe. He understood the perfection of mixtures and recipes as well as the art of chocolate making. Mr. Salem and his wife founded the Péché Chocolate factories in their travels to find the best producers of our chocolates in France, Lebanon, Italy and Belgium. Péché de Chocolat soon became a success based on quality which nurtured down to a fine chocolate known as one of Raleigh’s finest staples.
